including the Current Populations Survey, Census 2000 Supplemental Survey,

University of California, San Diego, provides "Data on the Net" a
searchable, browsable listing of 873 internet sites of numeric social science
statistical data, data catalogs, data libraries, social science gateways,
addresses, and more.
This
is the homepage for the EconData service of Inforum at the University of
Maryland. Several hundred thousand economic time series, produced by a number
of U.S. Government agencies and distributed in a variety of formats and media,
can be found here. These series include national income and product accounts
(NIPA), labor statistics, price indices, current business indicators,
industrial production, and information on states and regions as well as
international data.

National Archive of Criminal Justice Data
Provided
by the University of Michigan, this site contains a broad criminal justice
database which includes such subjects as attitude surveys, community studies,
corrections, court case processing, crime and delinquency, policy,
victimization, and drugs, alcohol, and crime.
This
site provides state-level information and data on a number of issues, including
crime, the environment, welfare, and healthcare. It also offers full text of
current individual State of the State addresses. Stateline.org is operated by
the Pew Center on the States, a research organization administered by the
University of Richmond and funded by the Pew Charitable Trusts.

UNICEF produces statistics globally and by country and
provides a tool for generating customized statistical tables, including
economic and social data from 195 countries and territories, with particular
reference to childrenŐs well-being. These statistics are derived from UNICEFŐs
